some things that have been bringing me peace lately
Over the past few months I’ve been writing down every little quote I’ve read or thought I’ve had that has brought me some sort of peace, and I’ve found that more than ever I’ve been turning to them in the times when I’m not so sure about things.
I’ve sat with them in my notebook for long enough now that I felt like it was time to pass them on to you. Take what you need, leave what you don’t xxx

If someone makes you happy, make them happier.
Take things as signs, not challenges.
Everything is temporary!
You can choose to focus on what’s tearing you apart, or what’s holding you together.
There is nothing wrong with being easy to please.
Don’t trust how you feel first thing in the morning, or past 9pm.
Relief is the best emotion you can feel and offer.
The difficulty will soon be proof of capability.
You win or you learn.
Your whole life is a romance with yourself.
You won’t remember this in 20 years.
Nothing ends poetically. Things end, and then we turn them into poetry.
Feelings aren’t a choice, how you react to them is.
Be kind to all, be available to few.
Time will pass anyway.

We owe it to our current selves to stay on nodding terms with our former selves.

Love this so much, especially number 4! What a great reminder that sometimes you just need to shift your viewpoint. Really needed to hear all of these today though🫶🏻🥰
