Really appreciated the way you put your experiences together. But Sophia, the end? Why did it stop at 34? I loved the idea of being in it and the numbers fade out, still you said until number 34. In an all excited way for your dating life, this felt to me like a cliffhanger for a part 2 ?
Because "The next day, I go on date number 17, and a few days later on number 18 and 19 all the way to 34, writing the same name over and over again, till I forget to count the dates, till the list becomes obsolete – because we’re in it." Meaning I've been meeting the same guy since date 17 and didn't need the list anymore.
In the early days of Tinder I was single, and I did something similar, but I was happy single and just wanted to go on dates. I couldn't imagine doing that now in my late 30s 🫠
